Trading chaos runes for tokkul

An update increased the amount of Tokkul received as drops and from the Fight Cave. The update also increased the price of various items in the store. Each of the Obsidian items cost 2.5 times the high alchemy value in Tokkul. It bottoms out at 9 tokkul per chaos very quickly. It is not worth hopping to get more tokkul per rune. the 120gp that it says in the city guide is how much tokkul it cost to buy one chaos, not how much it buys for. They buy chaos back from you at a fraction of that, maybe 1/10th or something along those lines. It's been a while since I traded for tokkul, so I can't remember correctly. I used to trade addy ores there before I could use them for I heard about a few people who bought a ton of chaos runes then sold them to the tzaar store for tokkul and got a fury a bit cheaper than if they just paid normally. Can anyone give me an estimation of how many chaos runes Id need or the amount of tokkul you get per rune? Thanks! Tokkul is the currency of the TzHaar. It is made from hardened bodies of dead TzHaar. According to the Wise Old Man in Postbag from the Hedge 12 and 14, the name Tokkul means, roughly, rock token or material value.. It is revealed in The Elder Kiln quest that the souls of the dead TzHaar live in a tormented state within the Tokkul, although this is generally disbelieved by living TzHaar. YES fight caves is a good way to get tokkul, but lets face it, its at least 800-1.2k tokkul an hour thats like 600 hours a month for a good profit, >.<, so maybe chaos is a better way hmm :D

trading runes for tokkul If i remember correctly it's like 2million gp worth of fire runes and a half million clicks. I've heard that obby mauls are better for the onyx, about 1.5mill and a whole lot less clicks.

When selling chaos runes, each piece of tokkul costs 8.22 coins. When buying uncut onyx (with the discount), each piece is worth 8.67 coins. Drop sources

The store sells runes for varying amounts of Tokkul. If Karamja gloves 1 or better are worn while trading with this store, the player will receive a discount on the prices of the runes sold by it. Additionally, the store will pay more Tokkul for any runes sold to it, with the exception of chaos and death runes. To counterbalance this, the store buy price for runes (not including chaos and death runes) will fall down to 0 after 5,006 runes are in stock.

When asked why players cannot trade Tokkul, TzHaar-Hur-Lek responded: Using chaos runes with the discount as a basis, each piece of tokkul is worth 2.74 .
