As of now, the only use for drop trading is to convert items on ironman accounts to regular accounts, by dropping item on ironman and the regular account picking it up. This only works 1-way, ironmen cannot pick up other people's items. Edit - to clarify, unless you are converting something from ironman to regular, don't use drop trading. Just trade to a mule you keep on your home IP. Never had a problem. If you're paranoid, trade to a mule on an IP then drop trade to your home IP mule.
